-Home Chef Reporting for Duty-

It has been many years back since i cook a complete meal at home. The only time i cook where there is any special occasions. Btw my maid went back Indo, so i have to do the cooking*dont mind* + cleaning and laundry*very mind*.

Yesterday 27.08.2008 was my m0m's birthday. I dint know what to get for her so cook her a meal instead. 10am early in the morning i woke up, clean up den went to Tesco snatch parking with Malaysian "Si Lai' parking to shop for my cooking ingredients.

Once i reached back home, i DID MY OWN LAUNDRY! After that, i start marinate the meat and prepare other food. When the clock turn to 6pm, i start cooking and here is the result:

Chicken Soup

Garlic Bread

Stuffed Jacket-baked Potatoes. Look at the melting cheese...hmmmm

Coleslaw
Total Set : Stuffed Jacket-baked Potatoes, Coleslaw and Mustard-Glazed Lamb.

As for dessert did nothing XD

Wanted to make something but cant think of anything so just skip it. Hehe. Cooking part is the best BUT after that, the CLEANING is the KILLER!!

-Malaysian Breakfast-

2 weeks back, my mom told me she had a nice plate of nasi lemak in Uptown, Damansara Utama with her friend. She told me so and so, I was thinking is just a plate of nasi lemak! In the end, I still cant stand it! Is a sin not to try it out XD. So this morning I woke up EARLY and had my breakfast with Yu Chen.

When we reached the place, as i expected parking issue. No legal parking available so I have to double park and leave a note on the dashboard with my number on it."hoping a hot chick to call" shhhhh =X

-Direction-

Let me guide using the easiest way. Take the LDP heading 1 Utama/Kepong. Before reaching BHP petrol station turn left. After that, 2nd junction on the left turn in. The land mark for the turn is the Bank Rakyat. The shop located 3-5 shops away from the corner shop lot.

The other way is, drive around Uptown until u see the restaurant. The world is round =)

Later on, seats problem. Every table was taken and by the way is 10.30am. Packed with nearby office employee!*All wearing formal, thats how i knoe*Is a small shop with very limited seats and people do reservation for a meal!! Can u imagine reservation in such place!!

-Village Park Restaurant, Uptown, Damansara Utama-
-Nasi Lemak + Ayam Goreng served with banana leaf-

-Teh Tarik-

Malaysian breakfast. A plate of nice Nasi Lemak and a cup of Teh Tarik. Drooling??? XD

The dish was served hot and fresh from the food counter. The sambal is just perfect for the dish. Not too spicy and not too moisture/dry! Everyone can eat! The rice, ohhh the aroma of the lemak and banana leaf below it! Just smell it and never forgets about it. The fried chicken, served hot, tendor meat and the taste proof marinate cukup kao! Besides that, they gave alot of kacang and fried ikan bilis.

Only the Teh Tarik Im not satisfied. Not enough kao but is another healthy cup of tea. Reason : Not sweet enough and not kao = healthy drink but not nice =(

Well, sometimes is good to eat and drink healthy =)
Most of u must be wondering or searching for the price right??

The normal nasi lemak is just RM2.30, fried chicken is RM4.50*bit over price* and the teh tarik is RM2.00*cafe price*. There are no extra charges in this restaurant.

Besides nasi lemak, they serve noodles and other thing which i havent try it yet. Well, maybe next time I will try the other food.

09/08/08 a sulplise lunch was organised by Auntie Sanny for her bday gal fren Li Hui. At first our plan was having out lunch at Jack Charbroil den change to Jack's Place. Planning and being on scene is 2 different thing! From Jack's Place we change again to Seoul Garden located inside 1 utama.

Comment for the food. I would say the Szuchuan Chicken, Chili Fish and the Beef. Wonderful!!!

This for steamboat. 4 type of soup were given to choose. Ginseng, Herbal, Kimchi and Tomyam. We took Herbal and Kimchi. Hardly touches the soup. 98% concentrate at the hot plate XD

Meal cost about RM30 per pax with 10% discount and Free flow drinks. After the meal, walk around the shopping mall to digest our meal. Later on, all went back home and rest.

Night, I went dinner with my mom's friend and "sifu". A meditation master.

Located at Aman Suria and very blind to miss this shop if u past by.

Everytime "sifu" buy us dinner, we will go for Indian Food. He just love indian food. Total of 15 people, we ordered a party platter, Naan and chapati.

Inside the package got all sort of food. Like fish, lamb, chicken.

Overall the food not to say very nice cause it is cold when served and the meat all very hard, dried up. =/ An addition my lunch was still in the stomach.

End of the day, the bill turned out to be RM700++. @_@

After dinner, I head back to 1u with Yu Chen and her sisters for midnight movie but the sisters watched X-files while Me and Yu Chen watched The Mummy not Daddy and Mummy!> . <>All the shop were closed, no people and dark woo wooo wooo

-Baking Instead of Sleeping-

A sleepness night. Haizz.. i dunno wassup with me..i could not sleep through out the night. Watch movie..count stars..count sheep..still cant sleep. It should be the healthy teh ais i had when i went out yum cha.

Brain super semangat, i even think what is there in the fridge and i remember there is Philidelphia cream cheese!! Next thing came into my mind was cheese cake or cheese tart. By the way i just discovered i had "Shoon Chak Hoong Gui Zhing" i dunno what it call in English. Try to read in Cantonese! XD

When the sun rise, i made my decision. BLUEBERRY CHEESE TART!!

Search for ingredient, study the methods. Later on i finally Knocked Out. Sleep all the way until afternoon.

After staying in the kitchen for hours, result finally out!!!
