-Healthy Hang Out Place-

This place was discovered by Kent Teo's sister. Thanks to her, we found a new nice place to hang out. -The Mage Cafe-

Located at Damansara Jaya. Exactly where is kinda hard to tell but the shop is facing Atria/Giant. If walking pass the shop it looks very empty and quite nothing special about until you become their customer.

The shop opens from 11.00am until 12 midnight and their special service is providing board games for their customer. Of course have to pay RM5 per-person but there is no time limit for it. Play as many board games you like. Just pick.

So if u plan to go at 11.00am play until 12 midnight the owner will not kick you out from the shop. Besides that, they also selling food and drinks which is not too bad.

The amount of board games in the shop is really WOW. I mean WOW!!! i have never seen so many different type of board games in 1 place and it is not those cheap type. It is those weird and expensive board games. Dunno play board games? Is ok. There is a guy named Ryan aka Boss will teach and guide until the game ends.

Left side of the shop. Rack full of board games and there are 2 sets of comfy sofa for people to sit and enjoy their board games.

Besides that, there is also table and chair. This is right side of the shop. There are also board games on the racks.

Computer service also available.

We went at 8.30pm and not long after my dinner. So I dint order any food but just a drink.
First Love.

Carbonated drink mix with ribena with lychee topping. Is almost the same as Sparkling Ribena. It is not a very sweet drink very nice. Cost Rm4.50 only.

Then, Ryan approach us and introduced a game to us which is kinda like memory and laughing game.

Is a really nice place to hang around instead of invest the amount of money in Cyber Cafe. OMG i don't believe I'm telling u all these. IS TRUE!!!!

-The '89 Island Holiday-

The moment i have been waiting for after 3 days of choosing and uploading photo until it comes to an end!!!

This trip has been planned for months and many research has been made among the resorts along East Coast before it came to reality.

First of all, "Lang Tengah" our destination. The reason y we choose Lang Tengah is because there was not much choices for our budget. Travel in a private van in a 7 hours journey from midnight till sunrise. Believe it or not? It is DAM SCARY!!! Few of us in the van dint really sleep.

Not long after we reached Merang Jetty where everyone will meet up and take a boat to the island, our 2 Model start photo fever liow.

Small and short jetty. Thanks to this jetty, we dont need to jump into the water =)

Besides the jetty, the resort also has a platform with table and chairs for their guest to enjoy the stars during night time.

Once Pui San settle everything at the reception we head to our room.

1st day of our arrival, there was no snorkel trip but our own free time. So, i decided to take a short nap in my room but those 3 monkey were to active and this is wat they did =.=

They were too noisy until i woke up from my beauty sleep and could not sleep back. So we start our beach volleyball at 12 noon!! of all time 12 NOON!!

When we were enjoying ourself, suddenly got 1 spore student asked us wethere they can join us anot. As a friendly Msian*Bangga* we said ok. Let's play!!

That fella went back to his chalet and told his fella friend. Wah...all of them quickly wear their sunny, apply sun block macam banyak pro!! Of course we were like. OK we are in deep shit. Sure kena bungkus la.

Before the game start, they asked us do we knoe how to play anot. We said nop and they also dunno!! 2 newbie team playing volleyball. At the beginning takut for nth! XD

While all the guys were cooking under the hot sun, the gals sat at the dining area and watched us get cooked. Besides that, they complain boring =.= How boring can it be??

1.30pm *ting ting ting* someone rang the bell and it is LUNCH TIME!! Gosh i was so hungry and thirsty at the same time.

The food is nice!! Better than other island resort. The curry actually taste spicy and must not forget the tom yum. Oh the taste of sour and spicy cukup kao!!! Bagus!!!

For dinner, we had vege, sotong, chicken and egg. Okok nia..average. I still prefer lunch!!!After dinner, we all group in Room 212. Play cards to burn our time.

Snorkeling makes our body exhausted, so we manage to conquer a hammock, a swing and some chair under the tree!! Real windy, cooling and nice view. Easily fall asleep! XD

Not far from the tree, KY and I went towards the rocks and behind the rocks is a nother resort. Besides that, I dicovered something which is dam nice for the computer/ hp wallpaper. Let u all leech it la =)

1 Full day outside the room. Hang out at the beach. There goes the day light and here comes night! At night what else can we do?? so we drink and play a deadly card game.

In my personal opinion, the place is really nice. Water condition clear and nice. clean beach. white sandy beach. no kids runnning up and down. No babie crying early in the morning.

BUT

The beach is very small. Lots of dead coral at the beach and sea cucumber in the shallow water!

An hour ride from the island back to mainland. Haihz so sien. Speedboat only takes about 40 minutes and more fun!!!

Once we reached back Merang Jetty we hop into our van and dropped Pui San and Li Hui to the airport. Talking about the airport, it gave me a shocked. Terengganu has a new airport with air-con in it!!

I i dint knoe about it. It is not even 2 months old. All new. Fulamak wei.. Spend 5 freaking hours in there also no problem ar! Janji ada air-con that place is paradise at that moment la!

Instead of spending hours in the airport for our flight we took a local tour to explore Kuala Terengganu Tourist Area.

Walking along Chinatown makes us hungry. Come on we havent eat lunch. So i decided to go into Madam Bee's Kitchen. Henri and I felt this shop is special!!

Terengganu Laksa.

Noodle everything like Asam Laksa but the paste is different, It uses mashed fish meat with a very special chilli sauce. Mix everything together makes the dish goes WOW. A must not miss dish! Is abit sweet and mild spicy taste

Not too bad. Mihun with shreded fried eggs and chili.

Given few pieces of Keropok and few pieces of cut keropok lekor in the rojak with vege mix together with their rojak sauce.

How we get this Nasi Panggang for free? The story might be like this!! MIGHT BE! might be not real or might be real!! Well I add all the puzzle together and figure it out.

The food price range starts from RM2.50 until RM5 only. Besides that, drinks starts from RM0.30 until RM1.50

We enjoy all the good food while Pui San and Li Hui eating Airport food. Hehehe

After our lunch, we head to the boat yatch.

This is Central Market where u deal business with Idiots that dosent uses their brains to think!

This is real story happened at the CEntral Market.

My mom asked me to buy Mata Kuching because it is in season, so i walk along the street with yeong and yu chen and do some survey on the price and quality. All the stall are selling RM8/kg but suddenly got 1 old man which has a big head with brain size of a pea say he selling RM7/kg. So i ignore him cause i see the size of the mata kuching is small. Walk till the end, all are the same! So the place where they get it from must be from the same supplier, so I went back to the old pea brain man stall to buy. I asked his daughter how heavy in each bunch. Without asking me wanna buy anot she straight away put in the plastic bag and say RM8! WTH since when i wanna buy and just now was RM7!! Later on Li Yeong over heard it and he say aih same price duwan la then he tried to pull me away. Out of a sudden that old pea brain man said. Eh mau cari pasal ka?? he took out his fist and shout mau ni ka??? COME ON MAN HOW BIG IS UR FIST??? IS A SIZE OF AN APPLE!! And Li Yeong is like 1 head taller than him!! Small and old fella wanna fight???OMG!! Anyway we are not in KL so dint wanna bring up any trouble, i just pull Li Yeong off and DONATE the RM7 to the pea brain man and get out from there!

To all readers/tourist when u go to Central Market please think twice. 2nd please make sure you are not going alone!. 3rd Be prepare for a fight. So what eva ruBBish u are holding that might save ur life in some way.

This is a turtle sold in the market. RM2 each. How on earth to put into the mouth and eat man...ewwww. Nico Tell me HOW???

Lastly, we settle our dinner with 1 Jumbo size Gardenia bread and tuna in the airport. Backpacker style. XD

-Food Below the Wind-

Travel to East Malaysia again with my mom only. Place where nothing much to do or see but rich with fresh and cheap seafood. This time the destination is Sandakan. 80% of this trip was sponsored by a company which is not important in here, settled most of the bill in here =)

Taking a 2 Hours and 45 Minutes flight with AirAsia in the afternoon is hard to burn time. After the plane took off from LCCT I was bored so took out the camera and made a few shots.

Well, that was a bad idea! I was hungry after looking at the menu. Hey, come on dint have lunch ok! cant blame me for that! but is part of the marketing strategy!! So, next time people read anything but not the snack attack menu!

Set cost RM12. Nasi Lemak : RM8, Coffee : RM4
Pak Nasser Nasi Lemak. Portion very little, rice too much moisture but the sambal and curry chicken not too bad. Is spicy!! It even have ikan bilis and kacang!!

2 Hours and 45 Minutes flight is already bad for me. Imagine travel to Europe or U.S the hours of flight! @_@

Once we arrive, mom's friend, Nicholas picked us up and send us to our hotel which is a 4 star hotel.

Considered the best rated hotel in town and is only 4 star!! Used to be Equatorial but now changed to Sabah Hotel.

Unpacked all the stuff, shower, walk around the hotel see see look look. Nothing Special about the hotel.

After burning some time, dinner time finally has arrive and my stomach was playing drum at that time! Head down to town, dinner here i come!!!

Kedai Ang Ban Guan located beside a mosque! thats all i know XD

Nicholas suggested to order their best dish :

*Butter Prawn* The sauce creamy! yummy. tasty and the big fat juicy prawn. Perfect dish!!

Tung Foong Loh

Once dig out from the shell u get the meat and just eat it or dip into chili sauce.

Stim Fish. If im not mistaken the name for this fish is "Lai Toh Yu" which is very common in Sabah but rare in Peninsular Malaysia. The sauce is sweet and spicy. I tasted wine in there as well.

Salt Baked Crab. Crispy and juicy crab. Crabs were not very big but their meat was juicy and the most important thing FRESH!!

After dinner, Nich brought us round Sandakan Town which only takes 10 minutes only. Imagine how big is the town! Once reached back hotel, jump on the bed and my eyes just shut by itself.

Next morning, I had breakfast at the Hotel Restaurant.

Nasi Lemak. Looks delicious?? WRONG!!! the rice is tasteless, sambal not spicy and the beef rendang =S Honestly, AirAsia nasi lemak taste better!!!
Pastry. Is tough is hard. This is the only dish i enjoyed! =(

In the Evening, went to the Central Market located in the town. The place is rated good for a market. The whole place was clean, dry and organised!

I dunno what kind of clam is this but it's definitely gave me a syoked! 1Kg is only RM3. EAch is about 500g-600g but the size is bigger than my hand.

Kerang is nothing much special but imagine every one of it is almost the size of a softball!!

Bought 1Kg of Banana Prawns which is very rare in the market cost RM26/kg and a fish. Then we went back to the same restaurant as last night.

500g of stim prawns. Nothing was added on it. Taste 100% from the prawn itself and when u bite and chew the meat, taste of the sweetness, i will never forget it!!!
500g of Salt Baked Prawns. Cooking style same last the last night crab but different seafood.
Fish name dunno!! No knowledge about types of fish in the market. 1 thing for sure i know the fish is fresh from the sea! Never been placed into the freezer! The texture and taste of the fish is different from others.

That night only 3 of us sapu the 1kg of prawns bought from the market. When we were placing the order, we told the Lady Boss that we brought our own seafood u should see her face man! As black as charcoal ar! If i had a chance to take a picture of her i really will man!!!

The Next morning, Dint return to the Hotel Restaurant but followed mom out to a fishing village for breakfast.

Fish Porridge. After eating my bowl of noodle, try the fish porridge is kinda tasteless. Maybe the noodle taste is stronger!

Fried Squid with black sauce. Taste different from KL cooking style. Is sweet and salty with a weird taste. Cant really tell!! not bad!!

Stim Lobster. Texture of the lobster very nice to chew but the sweetness still lose to the prawns we had last night.

This place the service was very bad!! bad until i wanna rate it 0/10! 2 person came took our order and we gave them the same order. Our dish of crab dint turn out but gave to another table + wrong dishes keep coming to our table!!

There was a English Tea House located on a hill not far from the hotel.

Saturday early morning. 8.30am From Sandakan town traveled to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Local and international tourist has to pay different price for their entrance fee. Well local is only RM5 per-person.

Fried Kuey Tiow. Looks tasteless??

Wrong!!! The Kuey Tiow is fried with fresh seafood, skinny Taugeh and Egg. Finishing with topping of minced dried shrimp. The combination smell and taste is just wonderful!
Restaurant Pasir Putih Baru. Located at Pasir Putih the other end of Sandakan Town.

Ginger Onion Manila Clams. The sauce is delicious! Mainly is because the freshness of the clam BUT this dish is expensive because the size and weight of the clam shell. The Clam inside very small!! Nothing much to eat.
STim Chuk Cheang Yu

Sabah Vege with Belacan. Very rare vege. Currently available in Sabah Only!!

*Consume too much of this vege is bad of health due to chemical sprayed on the plant. Once in awhile is ok!

Salt Baked Mantis Shrimp. 1 taste not very strong but most important it is fresh!!!

After the meal, mom and I guess the price of the meal...hers was RM86 mine 76.

Last day in Sandakan, dint plan to eat seafood or too heavy food. Already had 4 days of seafood meal. Wow....really eat until gao gao!

Walk at their weekend market which sell alot of 2nd hand clothes and toys!! look at the colour also wanna vomit and the smell X.X

Give up the market, head for food. Found the most busy coffee shop in town.

Dim Sum. Nth Special Not veli Nice! is Cold and Hard!!!
Wat Tan Hor. Look ordinary but is delicious! Some how Chinese food must have "Wok Hei" kinda like Chef's skill!! Meat was replaced by fresh fish.

Of course wont be leaving Sandakan with 2 combs of bananas. Smuggled back some dried products, 3 big fish, 2 Kg or prawns and 5 lobsters. We should not be doing it but take risk! XD

Wont get to eat this during ordinary days unless u buy from morning/night market which is not nice. Yuck! Is too salty! tasteless! too hard! too kosong! expensive!

Oh this is homemade @ Limited Edition! Nothing can defeat home cook food!! Is not easy to do this! Need at least a day to complete everything like cooking the food, wrap and after wrapping still need to boil in a pot of hot water for hours!
